I keep finding myself coming back to these articles about animal intelligence. It's a problem. Here's the thing that I've gathered: humans are potentially not much more intelligent than anything else on this planet.
Can we even imagine a greater intelligence than our own? We can easily imagine a greater processing power, but I propose that we can't imagine a greater intelligence. All we can think about is the ability to do math more easily. That's only a small part of intelligence.
What we need to do here is think of how something greater than ourselves might think or perceive the world, but that task may be beyond us.
