I can observe the current weather for myself. I cannot judge the weather in heaven/God's mind/whatever. These prophets claim to be experts that are capable of doing so. Furthermore, weather people always state odds, even if it's a 90% or a 10% chance, there's still an out for them if they're wrong. These prophets are resolute in their predictions and say THIS IS THE END. There's never an asterisk attached, never "THIS MIGHT POSSIBLY BE THE END MAYBE".
