Show your audience a cryptographic hash function.
One person in you audience need to use the hash
function to make a hash. Now it is you and the
rest of the people to figure out what number the
person originally putted in the cryptographic hash
function. The people will be confused and not
know how to figure it out. But you know the
answer of course as any good wizard should now.
But do you know, why? Because you had a back
door all along in you algorithm!

Now the question is how to make a cryptographic
hash function with a backdoor. That one if for
you to figure out. ;)

How magic tricks works:

1. All magic is in a controlled environment. That means you the wizard have 100% control and now what can happen.
2. The audience can not know that it is a control environment.
3. The audience need to interact with the wizard and the magic "object" to give theme the feeling that it is real and they are part of some thing "mysterious phenomena".

When you do magic you need to make the audience think the are in a uncontrolled environment and not in a controlled environment. This can be achieved by delusions as you hide the "controlled part" of the magic trick. The magic that you are going to perform you know all the options there are. What ever happens there is only one or more already set end results.

Web magic from my knowledge is only possible if the users/audience interact with the "black box" in there views(that you full control of course) as for example like dividing a women in two parts dose not work on web magic. I can not explain why as the languages is so bad in words, but i hope you understand why.
