Since April or May of last year, I've been slowly modifying Wakaba to suit my needs, and a few days ago I finally got to a point where I considered my work to be substantial and gave my fork a name of its own.
What I want to know is what in your minds constitutes giving your work a name of its own. How much would I have to have done for this to look anything other than arrogant? How much did 4chan do before they decide to name their work Yotsuba, or 420chan before Taimaba?
Wakaba is public domain isn't it? Grats
I license all of my writing/software as being public domain so i dunno.

I know I can do whatever I want with it from a legal standpoint, but I'm just trying to make sure I'm not coming off the same way an idiot who changed some CSS on Kusaba X and called it his own software would.
