I have my ways, I don't know about others.

I would assume it's due to our human nature, to want to know, and connect with others. Because of this, being on anonymous text/image boards, we find a way to connect, via community projects, third-party social networking sites, and other sorts of internet magic.

With this interconnection, information that appeals to a group, no matter how small/lacking in influence, is easily found or shared,

For instance, I was notified of this place by a fellow internet person on the internet, whom happens to post on certain secret areas, participate in certain community projects, and other sorts of internet happenings. He also has a knack for archiving and memory, as well as rhetoric, leading to this being of much interest to him.

As such, being a good friend of mine, he automatically attempted to share it with me, for two purposes. The first, the more basic one, was to have something to discuss, and enjoy with me. The second ,more true to his personal nature, was to verify if I had seen it, and what I may know that he does not, to add to his own knowledgebase.

In short, it is found via social networking between members of a distributed group of image and message boards, many such boards owing their origins to their users' love for Japanese media culture.
