Well, I'd say not just for porn but then again, what do sixteen year-olds do with the Internet?

One thing to put things into perspective is that 2003 was still Bush's America. John Ashcroft was still the Attorney General and he hated pornography. In fact he hated everything that wasn't Jesus wrapped in the American flag surrounded by little blond white girls and little blond white boys singing Christian hymns and Yankee Doodle Dandy in unison while firing constitutionally protected howitzers into the air at endangered species (except the Bald eagle) and gays and Mexicans... er... I digress.

Ashcroft vs. Freedom of Speech Coalition had been decided in April of 2002. Prior to this point in history, the legality of many of the especially filthy forms of hentai were up in the air. Even still, with Ashcroft still in office the domestic supply of such stuff was completely lacking. Jesus Boy #1 Ashcroft continued to press the issue so hard that he harassed entirely legitimate old-school big-breasted women + muscular guys with big dicks porno mills. Looking back it was any wonder that 4chan took off in that environment. Then again, it was so small at the time that no one particularly noticed.
